Pros: I just thought I would add to my update on this board. It has been running flawlessly with all functions including WiFi and Bluetooth. I use duel windows boot with two hard drives and windows 7 pro and Windows 8.1. The whole system stay stable with either overclocking or AI Suite 3. With little knowledge of a advanced board like this one, I was able to get everything working the way it should.
Believe me it is fast. Cons: I too had to use Asus Technical to answer a few questions that most probably is in their manual, but I could not find. The Techs on e-mail where responsive, but even with my little knowledge, I found them just going by scripts. Ie check memory and re-install drivers. But non of these items had anything to do with the question. Too bad, because they could put some people with knowledge of their motherboards in Tech service.
This is the reason for 4 eggs. Would have been five if they had some knowledgeable people on tech support. Other Thoughts: Download the Manual and do a find on parts you need to find out about.
Pros: Fast, with a cool looking BIOS and relatively easy layout for inserting cards, memory, etc. Lots of great utilities. Cons: Before I get to the entire story let it be known that Flashing to the latest BIO resulted in my C drive (a Samsung SSD 850 Pro) not being seen. Boot Manager only sees my DVD drive and my RAID 1 (mirror) which is my E drive. When I called Technical Support, I was rudely asked 'Why did you update the BIOS? That wasn't very smart, was it?'
Are you serious! When I asked for his name and a supervisor he responded with vulgar language and hung up on me. Now onto the entire story. DISASTROUS Technical Support. The manual was not clear about certain things (especially in regards to RAID) so when I called Technical support I found reps who were reading from scripts and unable to understand certain basic computer setups.
Especially in regards to RAID. They did not understand the SATA EXPRESS ports on the MB and insisted they could not use used for two drives in RAID and that they could not even hold more than one SATA drive. I could go on and on with this. Once it became clear I needed to talk to someone with more knowledge I asked for a supervisor and was repeatedly told NO. They would simply refuse. One eventually took my information and stated they would have a supervisor call me back that day.
None every did. I ended up calling the Corporate Office and begged for someone to find me anyone with some knowledge. Eventually they did and that person then got me to someone who was at least as knowledgeable as I.
But he could not answer any of my more complicated questions and said he would have to have someone call me back. That call never came. So I had to go online and ask around. Eventually I found the answers I needed and went ahead and set up the BIOS and then installed Windows 7. It went smoothly. The only issue was in inability to PCI-e ports 3 & 4 and an inability to have my mouse work when plugged into ANY of the rear USB 2.0 ports. The mouse would stutter and hang.
Not acceptable (I tried four difference, two being wired, two wireless and in all the ports). My mouse only worked properly when plugged into the front USB 2.0 port. I knew it was a MB issue because the mouse also acted funny in the BIOS. An ASUS rep advised me to update the BIOS. And as I already wrote above, it was a disaster.
Now I have no CB from a Supervisor and no working computer. I wish I had stayed with my 4 year old MSI MB based system. It was stable and their tecnical support reps were at least decent.

Shuttle, Gigabyte and others all have decent tech support. ASUS has been a disaster. I am disgusted by this treatment and now have to take my computer apart and find another motherboard. Other Thoughts: I have built a dozen computers in my time and never dealt with anything like this. Neither have I ever dealt with such rude, disconnected and technically deficient tech support reps. I have tried for over one entire week on a daily basis to speak to someone higher than the basic ASUS tech. It is impossible.

I had MSI Z97 Gaming 7 Motherboard and the Bios crashed so I have to pay money to ship it to MSI's HQ to get it replaced under warranty and wait to until I receive it back- the process took about two weeks. Well, I won't have to worry about that anymore with Asus' USB Bios Flashback. Cons: I wish the antenna that comes along with the Motherboard was bigger so if can pick up a stronger signal.other than that, that's it.
