I Think This Was My Inspiration For Mac
Absolutely agree. I have two rescued a year a part.
The difference is amazing and sometimes upsetting. Once a year the older boy nips something or someone (never broken skin). He had a very traumatic first year without any training until we came along. He took on a cow a few months back, nipped its face.
Recieved a head butt his ancestors would've felt. We live around a lot of Australian wild life, so it's very difficult to stop him once he hones in on a creature. Thankfully Australian animals of all walks of life are capable of putting him back in his place without serious injury if he gets too close. I’m confused by the title, too. I’m on my 4th ACD, all of which have accompanied us on all hikes, canoe camping, etc. Any ACD that herds people (of any size) simply hasn’t been trained. My 20 month old pup is wonderful with children (and cats, as they all have been) and has never offered more than a nose bump to herd someone.
And when he does try a nose bump for herding, he is told NO. ACDs are very intelligent and with training and exercise (I’m not sure the importance of sufficient exercise can be overstated) you can get them to do almost anything, including not herding people OR animals you don’t want herded.
After upgrading to the Xs Max I feel I can use my phone for general tasks and browsing when on the sofa which I use a lot of my 10.5 pro for currently. While the 12.9 will be used on my lap or a table for more longer based tasks. I do like the portability of my 10.5 but feel with a very big phone now do I really need that portabily instead of a larger screen? Plan to get the smart keyboard and if the bezels are smaller on even the 12.9 maybe this is the option to go for. Anybody who has upgraded to the bigger iphone got the same kind of mindset? What combo do you think works best for you for those who use their phone/ipad e.t.c.

What combo do you think works best for you for those who use their phone/ipad e.t.c. Click to expand. This has been EXACTLY my thinking! After taking the 10.5 on a week's vacation, I found I wasn't being as productive as intended because the screen seemed too small!
(Didn't want to lug my 12.9 on the trip.) I'm anticipating that the new reduced-bezel form factor will make the 12.9 less bulky and more manageable, so I won't mind carrying it around more often. Well then, what use is the 10.5? As a book reader? I have a Kindle for that. So, I just sold my 12.9 (while I could still get a decent price) and got the Xs Max. This big, beautiful screen serves as both iPhone and all the 'iPad' I need while running around (no bag required!).
When I need to do real work on the go, I'll bring the new, more svelte, 12.9 IPP. (Keeping the 10.5 for now. Going to sell it as soon as Apple reveals the date for the iPad/Mac event.).

I didn’t get my iPhone Xs Max yet, but I’m planning to soon. I did some measuring, and when in landscape mode, the screen on the iPhone Xs Max is the same width as an iPad Pro 10.5 screen when in portrait mode. I played around with the iPhone Xs Max in the Apple store yesterday, and in landscape mode you can really load many web pages in desktop view and they are actually usable.
It almost makes me think that maybe Apple should release some sort of foldable keyboard to go with the new iPhones, because you could probably get away with using them for some actual work. Click to expand. Don't ditch you 10.5 yet. Wait until you honey moon period with the Max is over. While the Max is big the 10.5 iPad still has a 229.19% larger viewing area. I too thought my 6.2' My Pixel 2 XL was huge when I bought it but my 10.5 iPad screen is a lot more comfortable for watching youtube videos on in the kitchen or in bed. In some cases, even the iPad feels small and I just browser on the laptop instead.
All my devices are complimentary and I roam between iPad, phone, TV and laptop depending on time of day and where in the house I am.
